Little Art Studio is a contemporary art studio and retail store with a wide variety of creative offerings in a fun, relaxed environment.
We are a Pottery and DIY art studio- choose from Paint Your Own Pottery, Mosaics, self-guided Canvas, seasonal workshops and more!
Perfect for everyday walk-ins, book club, ladies groups, senior events, birthday parties, bridal showers, no school days, school camps, BYOB paint nights, mommy & me, and studio rentals. On vacation?? We can ship your finished items to you for a standard shipping fee.

Our retail store offers pre-made ceramics, hostess gifts, kids craft kits, Art To Go kits, coloring books, art supplies, gift certificates and more! Perfect for keeping the kids and adults busy during rainy or too much sun days!

We offer FREE delivery locally from Calabash to Sunset Beach or OIB. We also ship direct outside our local area- perfect for sending gifts to friends or family!

Walk-ins are always welcome during daytime open studio hours (listed above). We recommend reservations on busy days (rainy, no school, holiday weekends and summertime).
Evening Paint & Sip Hours Friday's and Saturday's 5:00-8:00pm weekly- reservations required. Reservations can be made by calling the studio at 516-732-1705

Pottery
POTTERY BISQUE
We have over 300 different pieces of bisqueware to choose from ranging in price from $5 to $125 with something for everyone- mugs, plates, frames, banks, boxes, holiday items and more! We are always getting new items in so there is always something fresh to paint!
Mosaic
FORMS & SHAPES
Select a mosaic surface, some glass tiles and get creative! Paint the background and glue on tiles for a funky mixed media look and take your project home the same day. We have many shapes and forms for adults and kids alike. We also have many wood forms for painting.
Canvas
SELF-GUIDED CANVAS
We make creating a work of art easy- choose your 11x14 or 12x12 design from over 100 design templates or paint your own unique design. Start with a blank canvas, use the pattern provided to transfer the design, and follow the step-by-step illustrated instructions to create your masterpiece.

Step 1
WALK IN
The studio is open 6 days a week for walk-in open studio hours.
Look for extra hours and programming any time school is closed, holidays and summer.
Call ahead to reserve a table & confirm availability during busy times.
Step 2
CHOOSE PROJECT
Choose from Paint Your Own Pottery, Canvas Painting, or Mosaics. Your kiln fired pottery will be ready for pick up in 7 days (we can ship finished pieces if you are not local too!) Pay the $5 per person studio fee + the cost of projects. Project costs range from $10- $125. Most kids projects range $10-$25
Step 3
CREATE MASTERPIECE
Once you select a project, choose a design and create your masterpiece. We have lots of ideas and tools to help you achieve your vision. Our friendly staff is always there to help you achieve your ideas!
